Image Zoomer

A proof of concept written in pure javascript meant to mimic the magnifying glass effect on iOS to zoom in on specific parts on an image. Must be viewed either on a touch screen device or using developer tools in your browser.

Hi, My name's Josh and I'm a web developer / designer from New Orleans with a passion for creating unique and beautiful experiences for the web. I am experienced in developing in a range of web technologies for both the client and the server. I'm constantly learning and am always on the lookout for new and interesting opportunities.

Freelance Web Developer

Building server-side software applications using the Ruby programming language, and the Rails framework. Using various Javascript libraries on the front-end such as jQuery, Backbone, and Handlebars.

Gameloft New Orleans

Concept Artist Intern

Created the look and feel of a character or an asset for a game. Worked with other concept artists and 3d modelers to develop a unique visual aesthetic that was entertaining and tied in thematically with the rest of the game(s).
